Jina’s World of Fresh Produce is part of the Hutt Valley community. It’s embedded in how we run our business. We share it with you through local NZ produce and local youth education.

Local Produce

Jina’s supports our excellent farmers and orchardists here in New Zealand. We are proud to source most of our stock from New Zealand growers. In New Zealand, that best produce often goes overseas – but at Jina’s we keep some of our highest quality produce here for you.

Standouts include Kerikeri oranges, Okahune carrots, tomatoes and onions from South Auckland, South Island cherries, Hawke’s Bay apples, pears, stonefruit, and berries, Southland potatoes, and of course Bay of Plenty kiwifruit.

We’re so proud of our New Zealand produce that we label Kiwi-sourced fruits and vegetables in our retail store. Ask our staff about what’s seasonal. We are glad to help you make an informed choice.

Local Youth Education

Would you like your students to have a great hands-on experience? We can host your school or youth group for a guided tour at Jina’s World of Fresh Produce. We’ll show them how fruit and vegetables go from the farm to the plate, talk to them about what “seasonal” means, and inspire them with delicious fresh sample tastes.
